Ngeri has been writing for years and at this time, has nine children's books under her belt. She especially loves the opportunity to write about historical figures who have made their mark doing groundbreaking things to change the world. Through her work with the non-profit organization, Planting People Growing Justice Leadership Institute, Ngeri is able to help young authors write books telling their own stories.

Designs By Ngeri got its start in 2010. After a disappointing trip to the mall, Ngeri got to work hand making a clutch at home from ethnic material in her possession. From there, a brand was born! With no previous knowledge and no utilization of patterns, Ngeri began crafting designs ranging from accessories to various home decor items that reflected what she hoped to see as a consumer. Over a decade later, she's still at it, and delighted to bring these custom pieces from her hands and heart to your home and beyond.
